What we offer for:

Girls in Grades 9-12 aka REAL Girls

  • REALity Checks – a “girls only” time on the 1st Tuesday of each month for girls to come together to have fun led by women & young women of the community to talk about the real life issues they are facing, hear a testimony from a woman who has been through, survived & thrived through a trying time, Scripture discussion & application, small group talk time, worship, and prayer
  • REALity Checkpoint – a yearly event for the entire local community of girls
  • REAL “Life 2 Life” Sisters – having a woman come alongside you, sharing her life experiences, encouraging you through yours aka- having a Mentor
  • SIS WOW (Sisters in Scriptures Word of the Week) – a weekly Scripture to focus on through memorization, study, meditation and discussion with a SISter
  • Give where U Live– Opportunities to live life and give to others through:
    • REAL SIS:  be a mentor to a younger girl
    • REAL Leadership:
      • be a REAL Group Leader facilitating the REAL Tweens group
      • be a REAL Group Leader at your school or home
      • represent & present on behalf of the Get REAL inC ministry at various venues
  • REAL Service: join with other REAL Sisters to go into the community once a month to serve others through various projects
  • Discover your God-given gifts & talents – what is it that makes you tick or what are you passionate about?  As these things are uncovered your Sisters will strive to encourage, equip and empower you to put those into action.  Ex:  You have a desire to write a book.  Your mentor will guide you through this process by helping you navigate through the process (or put you in contact with a “professional” in the given area)

 

 

Girls in Grades 5-8 aka REAL Tweens

  • REALity Checks – a “girls only” time on the 2nd Tuesday of each month for girls to come together to have fun, led by girls in grades 10-12 to talk about the real life issues they are facing, hear a testimony from a teen who has been through, survived & thrived through a trying time, Scripture discussion & application, small group talk time, worship, and prayer
  • REALity Checkpoint – a yearly event for the entire local community of girls
  • REAL “Life 2 Life” Sisters – having a teen come alongside you, sharing her life experiences, encouraging you through yours aka- having a Mentor
  • SIS WOW (Sisters in Scriptures Word of the Week) – a weekly Scripture to focus on through memorization, study, meditation and discussion with a SISter
  • Give where U Live– Opportunities to live life and give to others through:
    • REAL SIS:  be a mentor to a younger girl
    • REAL Leadership:

      • be a REAL Group Leader of a group at your school or home
      • represent & present on behalf of the Get REAL inC ministry at various venues

Girls in Grades 2-4 aka The ‘Lil SIS

  • REALity Checks – a “girls only” time on the 3rd Tuesday of each month led by girls in grades 6-8 for girls to come together to have fun, talk, have Scripture discussion and application, small group talk time, worship, and prayer
  • REALity Checkpoint – a yearly event for the entire local community of girls
  • REAL “Life 2 Life” Sisters – having a tween come alongside like a big sister, sharing her life experiences, encouraging you through yours aka- having a Mentor
  • SIS Word of the Month – a monthly Scripture with activities & projects to do based on it

 

 

Women

  • SIS Groups – (Sisters in Scriptures) be a part of a group that meets once a month (on the 4th Thursday or Friday) to talk about the SIS WOWs and share life together
    • This group also holds one another “accountable” for weekly focusing on Scripture
    • REAL Mentor Opportunities – Walk alongside 1-3 girls encouraging them with God’s love, through God’s Word and the example of Christ.
    • REAL “Life 2 Life” Sisters – come alongside a teen as your mentee, share life experiences, see life and situations through their eyes, gain a new & renewed perspective
    • REAL Volunteer Opportunities – volunteer to be a mentor, help at a REALity Checkpoint, prayer, service projects, help fundraise, See Volunteer Needs
    • REAL Friends & Sisters – people to be real with, lean and glean on & from
